Martina Beka graduated from the University of South Australia in 2023 with a Bachelor of Contemporary Art, where she received the Photography Award of Excellence: Atkins Prize (2023), Chancellor’s Letter of Commendation (2022) and Merit Award (2021). In September 2024, she was awarded a 9-month studio residency at Fab Workshop and Studios in partnership with 2025 Adelaide Fringe Festival. She was the recipient of the Carclew Project and Development Grant in 2025 for her first solo exhibition conceived during her Fab Workshop and Studios residency and featured in the 2025 Adelaide Fringe Festival. In April 2026, she presented her first interstate solo exhibition at Bus Projects, expanding on and reinterpreting the ideas first developed in her debut solo exhibition.
