Martina Beka is an artist based in Tarntanya, Kaurna Country.
Her multidisciplinary practice prioritises sculpture, installation
and photography. She works with discarded objects and spaces to investigate the
intersection between materiality, site and the self. Beka’s practice relies on the collection and documentation of found materials and spaces that hold traces of human interaction. Her practice more recently considers the palimpsestic qualities retained in both new
and found materials.
